Why this matters
You cannot run Facebook or Instagram ads without a Page. The Page must be owned by your business, not a personal profile.
Step-by-step instructions

Visit facebook.com/pages/create
Sign in with a personal Facebook account (required - admin only).

Enter Page name and category
Use your legal or trading name and the closest service category.

Add description
Short, benefits-led description of what you do.

Upload profile picture and cover
Recommended: 170x170 logo and 820x312 cover banner.

Publish the Page
Click "Create Page". The Page ID appears under About → Page Transparency.

Pro tips
- Use square logo artwork only - avoid text-heavy cover images.
- Name the Page exactly as your invoice/legal name for consistency.
- Record the Page ID - it is needed for ad account linking.
Common mistakes
- Using a personal profile instead of creating a Page.
- Choosing a vague category that confuses audience targeting.
- Naming the Page something hard to rename later - 60-day cooldown.
